As a Nationally Certified Health & Wellness Coach, my role is to listen intently, without judgment of any kind, to support you, via evidence-based coaching skills, in identifying and achieving your own unique path to optimal wellness.<\/p>\n

Working with couples\/families to create, and officiate meaningful ceremonies of love. Memorials, Weddings, Baptisms.<\/p>\n
For every kind of ceremony, I listen intently to your needs, ideas, beliefs. What matters most is that I\/we create a ritual expressive of your heart(s). <\/p>\n

Tai Chi for Better Balance Instructor for our physical, emotional, spiritual health.<\/p>\n
Using gentle, flowing movements you will learn 8 Tai Chi forms (derived from the traditional 24-form Yang-style.) With the flow of the movements, the muscles involved in breathing are also stretched and tension released thereby creating renewed peace and calm.<\/p>\n

Coaching is an opportunity for you to 1) discover and articulate your own (not what someone tells you) well-being goals and why it matters to you; 2) brainstorm with an experienced guide regarding strategies for success; 3) be supported in taking action steps for achieving sustainable lifestyle changes that you want.<\/p>\n\t\t\tI’ve struggled my whole life with weight and have tried every diet on the books and failed. Why will this be any different?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t The integrative approach of coaching helps you reflect on your total well-being of which weight may certainly be a part. By looking at one’s health from a broader perspective (nutrition, exercise, stress, social engagement, fulfillment, finances, etc.) clarity surfaces about what’s working well and what isn’t for you, how weight is or isn’t a factor, and what steps you want and can take for increased well-being.<\/p>\n\t\t\tMy doctor told me I am underweight and need to gain weight and focus on eating healthy foods. Is this something you can help with?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t Absolutely. Having the support of a coach for exploring and implementing new eating habits is invaluable, along with discovering any other lifestyle changes that might influence not only weight but well-being such as strength, endurance, stress resiliency.<\/p>\n\t\t\tI’m uncomfortable meeting in public. Is there an online option?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t Yes! Coaching is highly successful via phone conversation or online chat as well as in person.<\/p>\n\t\t\tWill you make me weigh in and force me to eat like a rabbit?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t The words “make me” and “force me” are foreign to coaching because coaching philosophy is to help the client hear and trust their own wants, needs. What matters is identifying what “optimal well-being” is for you, helping you tap into why it matters to you, and then possible steps to take. Coaching is an opportunity to be supported in pausing for a minute to honor your hopes and dreams with new clarity and thereby increased energy for success.<\/p>\n\t\t\tCan I try it for 1 or 2 sessions before committing to more? And how many sessions does it usually take?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t Yes you may give coaching a try for 1 or 2 sessions; it’s important that your coach be the right fit for you. I recommend a minimum of 3 months (weekly or bi-weekly) as it takes time not only for you to identify and make a plan, but then to also begin to see successes. A client may not fully achieve a particular goal during 3 months (though depends on the goal) but definitely wants to feel strong about their process and tools for making sustainable lifestyle changes before concluding their coaching journey.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Evolving Together Now invites us to ponder our evolutionary ancestry not to negate or deplete current beliefs\/understanding about our human life but rather to expand, deepen, heal, rejuvenate our lives, personally, and as a species.
